Resilient WASH for 2030: Urban and Rural Perspectives

What will resilient WASH projects look like in 2030?
Please join the the U.S. Water Partnership (USWP) and iDE at a side event during the 2015 Water and Health Conference: Where Science Meets Policy on Monday October 26, 2015 from 10:30 AM until 12:00 Noon. Attendees will share their insights and raise questions related to building resilience in the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects of the future.
Mr. Tim Prewitt, CEO, iDE will set the context for the need for resilient WASH and facilitate the session. Please see a draft agenda and background information available here. More information on the conference agenda and registration is available here
The event will convene a roundtable discussion around the challenges and opportunities across three areas:
  1. Technologies/approaches;
  2. Data and information; and
  3. Financing mechanisms.
All attendees will have an opportunity to provide their experiences and case studies, discuss linkages among the three areas, identify gaps, and outline potential opportunities for public-private partnerships to address the aforementioned gaps
Please email your interest in attending and any questions to Marc Dettmann with the USWP Secretariat at Marc.Dettmann@getf.org
